David Banks Opportunity
David Banks will be at Irondale tomorrow, Tuesday October 15th from 10:30 am until noon. They are offering a free
portrait session for seniors who have not had their senior portraits
taken yet. David Banks will take your picture AND submit it to the
yearbook for you. There is no obligation or pressure to buy the
portraits. The deadline for submitting senior photos to the yearbook
staff is October 31st at 2:15. Free is awesome--take advantage of this deal before it's gone!

Yearbook Ordering Clarification
When I visited ybpay.lifetouch.com, I thought it was a little confusing! Here's my shot at clarifying... The "senior package" includes the baby picture, message and foil name
stamp for $85. If you want to buy it all at once, choose that option.
If you want to purchase the baby picture/message and yearbook
separately, choose the regular yearbook option and send a check for $25
with your baby picture, form and info. Either way, please send in the
baby photo and form to me by October 31. The form can be printed from
http://www2.moundsviewschools.org/irondale/index.asp?ID=806 if you need another
copy. If you/your student aren't seniors, memorize all of this for next year (ha-ha), choose the regular yearbook option and decide if you'd like to add your name to the cover. Send me an email at julie.cannon@moundsviewschools.org if you have any questions. Thank you!

Baby Pictures and Messages for Seniors
Baby Picture information: Please Read
Dear parent of an Irondale senior,
It is a tradition here at Irondale to give parents of seniors the option of including a baby picture of their son or
daughter in the yearbook. This is not mandatory, but many of the senior parents take advantage of this
opportunity. Please consider this opportunity to put a special memory and message into your son or
daughter’s last high school yearbook. The cost is $25.00 and covers the cost of the extra space it takes to
include these in the yearbook. It also includes the student’s name printed on the front cover. We’d love to
have baby pictures from as many seniors as possible. Please read and understand the procedure and deadlines for submitting these pictures.

Space for the message is limited to approximately 125 characters (letters, spaces, and punctuation). - If you want the picture back, you must include a self addressed stamped envelope with your order. Please be sure to label the picture on the back with the student’s first and last name.
If you don’t want to give up the hard copy, you can make a color copy of it to submit to us, or simply scan it into digital form. - A completed order form, $25.00 payment, and the picture must all be submitted by the due date in
order for us to include the baby picture in the yearbook. - If you miss the deadline, we will not be able to include the picture in the book, so act now!

The following is important information regarding your son or daughter’s senior
portrait for the Irondale yearbook. Please read carefully!
The yearbook staff also strives to create an accurate and visually pleasing
yearbook and we are pleased to partner with David Bank Studios, which has
worked with Irondale for over 25 years. David Bank Studios has worked out an
arrangement to assist you in ensuring your son or daughter will have their senior
picture displayed in the 2014 yearbook. The final deadline for getting your
portrait taken in the studio is Saturday, October 12th. If you have your portrait
taken in the studio you will also be able to select the shot that will be included in
the yearbook. The deadline for selecting this shot is October 26th. If you miss
the October 12th deadline, the last chance to have a senior portrait be
included in the yearbook is October 16th, when DBS comes to Irondale to shoot
portraits of those seniors who have not yet had their portrait taken at a
professional studio. There is no cost for this portrait, but only one pose is shot.
**The advantage to arranging a portrait session is that you can choose from
multiple photos.**
David Bank Studios provides many free photographs of clubs, teams, sports
action, candids, class photos, pep fests, dances, and many more activities.
Their services have been invaluable to our yearbook for decades and their
photo quality is excellent.
Yearbook portraits taken by David Bank Studios before the October 12th
deadline will automatically be submitted to the yearbook staff; no further action
is required by the student.
David Bank Studios is located in Fridley (1290 Osborne Road). The studio’s
number is (763) 571-2265. Please do not call Irondale – contact the studio
directly if you wish to set up a portrait session.
NEW THIS YEAR: You may also choose to have your portrait taken at another
studio. However, the portrait must be submitted to the yearbook staff in time
and with the proper specifications (head and shoulders shot from the waist up,
digital submission either by e mail or CD). Only vertical shots will be accepted.
All images should have a minimum requirement of the following: 300DPI/width
2.25"/height 3". Deadline for this non-DBS submission is October 31st.
